The Mountain Base Camp is located along the beautiful road winding up Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road) near Tokai and Constantia. An exclusive eco-camp, it is located amongst the untouched Cape fynbos and forests stretching over the peak of the mountain into Fishhoek overlooking the ocean.

The whole thing about the Mountain Base Camp lies in its response to the environmentally concerned traveler. It has been designed to have the least iompact on nature whilst at the same time providing comfortable accommodation close to the city without actually being in it.

The Camp is now exclusively available for a group of fans seeking private Cape Town football accommodation.

The Mountain Base camp is only 45 minutes drive from Cape Town city centre, yet its secluded location provides complete privacy to just get away from it all. This is a fantastic opportunity for groups of up to 12 people.

The scenic Mountain Base Camp’s 1 x 4 sleeper family tent and 4 x 2 sleeper tents were constructed using only alien woods to ensure minimal environmental impact on the delicate ecosystem of the Table Mountain National Park. Each tent is equipped with electric lights, large beds with luxurious quality mattresses and sheets. The “tents” are spacious, thatched and protected against the elements. The camp use battery-powered electricity to ensure showers always have hot running water.

The Mountain Base Camp combines luxury eco-camping with thrilling adventure experiences. Attractions and activities at the camp range from popular hiking trails, mountain bike routes and bird watching to secret picnic spots. Be sure to explore the spectacular trail to the viewing point boasting panoramic views stretching from False Bay to Cape Point, the famed meeting place of the Indian and Atlantic oceans.

The camp has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven and big dining table for indoor dining. The water provided in the kitchen has been filtered and is safe for cooking, but we do recommend that you bring bottled water for drinking.

There is a large outside barbecue area perfect for a relaxing and entertaining under the African night sky. All firewood, charcoal and firelighters are provided.
